TINA QVARNSTROM
Tina is a native of Yarmouth, where she and her husband also chose to raise their own family. As a product of Cape Cod public schools, and later a special needs parent and volunteer, Tina brings unparalleled familiarity of the local education systems to her work as an advocate.
She is professionally trained as an education advocate and parent consultant through the Federation for Children with Special Needs and has been with Cape Cod Advocate since 2012. Since that time, Tina has advocated for many families in school districts throughout Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, as well as in several districts off-Cape.
Tina has first-hand experience with adoption and the challenges of school-aged children transitioning into new environments. She blends her personal experience with strong training and ongoing professional development to help parents formulate the most appropriate education for their child, regardless of the disability.
